Configure the Case Page
Once again, WatchMe works with any object, but for demonstration purposes, we will use the Case object. First, let's add the "Request WatchMe" button to the actions panel. Go to Setup -> Object Manager -> Case. Then select Lightning Record Pages and click the Edit button. For this tutorial, we are assuming that the subscriber is using Dynamic Forms (though this works with standard Page Layouts as well.
Select the Highlights Panel (usually at the top of the screen) and then click Add Action. In the search box, type 'Request WatchMe' and select the shown item. Place the action wherever is most convenient for your users (we always put it in the front :)).
Now, let's make sure that WatchMe videos are embedded directly into the Case page so admins can quickly review User video without going anywhere! From the components list (on the left), drag the WatchMe Video Player component to any location on your Lighting Page. There are a few options, but for now, just leave them as they are.
Save (and activate if necessary) your Lightning page, and congratulate yourself. You have just made some very powerful enhancements to your support process!
Add the Global Publisher
Users typically access Watch Me through a Global Publisher action, which is included in the managed package. To add it to your org, go to Setup -> Global actions -> Publisher Layouts and click the Edit link next to the Global Layout record.
Select "Mobile & Lightning Actions" and drag the Watch Me action onto the Salesforce mobile and Lightning Experience Actions section. You can now launch the Watch Me application, but it will not work correctly until we configure some additional security-related items.
Setup Summary
Congratulations! You can now launch your first WatchMe! There are lots of other fun configurations to learn about, so keep exploring and put WatchMe User experience pieces where they will help your team the most.
...and with that, you have done it. The setup is complete, and you are now ready to start capturing WatchMe data and solving your toughest cases faster than ever. For more info, refer to the articles in this community or reach out to us at support@sightlane.com.
