When SightLane is installed in an org, the installer chooses whether to install for Admins Only, All Users, or for Specific profiles. A great description of the differences between these three options can be found on the Salesforce Website here.
Once the installation is complete (and especially if it was installed for Admins Only or Specific Profiles) you will want to give SightLane access to others in your org. For that reason, SightLane comes with its own Permission Set (called "SightLane") that will support any user who might be executing monitored processes. To allow monitoring for anyone in your org, simply assign this Permission Set to their User OR add the Permission Set to an existing Permission Set Group in your environment.
Pro Tip: The SightLane Permission Set does not give users access to the SightLane application. It only allows them access to SightLane monitoring components, so that monitors can execute appropriately at runtime.
If the "out of the box" Permission Set does not work for your needs, you are welcome to clone it and customize it as necessary for your company's needs. As always, if you have any issues with any of these steps, reach out to us at support@sightlane.com.
